Races, prices and packages have been announced for the second Disneyland Paris Half Marathon Weekend in September 2017, as runDisney package bookings for combined race bibs and hotels officially go on sale.
Following the impressive, immediate success of this year’s Inaugural Half Marathon Weekend, the runDisney event will return to Val d’Europe in 2017, with a brand new Disneyland Paris 10K race added to the agenda.
Next year’s events take place from 21st to 24th September 2017.
The Disneyland Paris 5K “Family Run” moves to the Friday night and now takes place only around Walt Disney Studios Park. Saturday sees the new Disneyland Paris 10K, while Sunday is the main Disneyland Paris Half Marathon with a route again taking in both parks and much of the resort’s Val d’Europe environs.
Events themselves actually begin on Thursday, 21st September 2017 with the runDisney Health & Wellness Expo in the Disney Events Arena next to Disney Village.
Next year’s Opening Party, from 9pm on Friday, 22nd September 2017 at Walt Disney Studios Park, also now serves as the post-5K party.

Get ready for the second edition of the Disneyland® Paris – Val d’Europe Half Marathon! Join the run through the spectacular Disney® Parks. Your 13.1 mile Half Marathon will put you in the middle of all the Disney magic. At Walt Disney Studios® Park, you’ll run down Hollywood Boulevard, and past the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™.
At Disneyland®Park, you’ll run through Main Street, U.S.A.®, past Sleeping Beauty Castle, and then through the countryside and villages that surround the Disney® Parks, circle back to Disney Village® en route to the finish line for a victory celebration and your Disneyland®Paris – Val d’Europe Half Marathon Weekend Finisher Medal. And along with your family or friends, Disney Characters will be on hand to cheer you along the race course.
runDisney Kids Races will also take place again, at €12 per person.
Package bookings, including a race bib and Disney Hotel stay, are now open — visit the official website for information, though you’ll need to phone or visit a selected travel partner to make a booking.
Sales of race bibs only will go on sale at a later date in “Spring 2017”.
If you’re planning to take part in one (or more!) of the runs but want to book your bib and hotel package separately for more flexibility, it will still pay to make your Disney Hotel booking as soon as possible — an Up to 2 Nights and 2 Days Free early booking offer is currently available for these dates and hotel availability will quickly dwindle with three major runs now taking place.
