Introducing… magicblog

Saturday, 5th May 2007 at 22:14

So you love Disney? Do you like concept art? Adore construction? Crave historic photos from the past? Find fascination with abandoned projects, long-lost ideas and long-forgetten events at Disney parks around the world? Well, the makers of Photos Magiques might just have the perfect treat for you. There's a new blog in town, and it has more than a few tricks up its sleeve...,

They call it… magicblog. It’s about Disneyland Resort Paris, it’s about Disney resorts all around the world. It’s about the past, and it’s about the future. Most of all, it’s a daily dose of magic from the archives that’s rarely been seen before.

If you’ve yet to pay them a visit, there’s a lot to catch up on! Since the launch less than two weeks ago, we’ve had two fascinating sets of photos showing the construction of Le Visionarium, abandoned plans for a wooden roller coaster at Animal Kingdom, historic photos from the “golden age” of Festival Disney, a susprising look at the Tour de France’s visit to Disneyland Paris in 1997 and a leaf through photos of long-lost characters, not seen in Paris for years.

So, rather than dance around boasting about how we’ve been blogging away for almost a year already, DLRP Today welcomes a new member to our little family, and wishes the magicblog the very best of luck for the future! Heck, we like it so much, we moved servers and are already in the process of moving our archive posts to the same much-advanced and far faster blog system! But for now, go enjoy a brand new daily stop-off on the Disney side of the internet…
