Tarzan: le Retour! Now returning for July, August

The Tarzan EncounterIn the Entertainment department of Disneyland Resort Paris, plans change once, change twice and change again -- and The Tarzan Encounter will return in 2009 after all!,

The announcement wasn’t popular. When rumour turned to confirmation that Disneyland Resort Paris had cancelled plans to bring the popular Tarzan: Le Rencontre (The Tarzan Encounter) acrobatic stage show back to The Chaparral Theater in Frontierland for its tenth season, fans near enough shouted outrage.

Even more so when it emerged the main reasoning behind that decision — to ensure the Mickey’s Magical Party street shows could run seven days a week for the entire season.

The Tarzan Encounter

Well, sellotape back together your Passeport Annuel…

The Tarzan Encounter WILL return!

Entertainment has now decided once and for all that Tarzan will swing back into the Chaparral — but only from 4th July to 30th August 2009, the Summer high season.

This is much shorter than his usual schedule from early April to late September, but will still come as a pleasant surprise for the show’s many fans after their earlier disappointment.

Prepare for the new season with our show guide here.

what happening after september still completely cancelled for 2009 they should stay in cancelled i am tired same thing they need want new stuff at disneyland resort paris why they keppt bring back ?

  • i wish disneyland would have shows that fit whith hte area the stage is located

  • I would have thought that the tarzan encounter would be in adventureland, you know with it being set in the middle of a jungle and all.

But I suppose it is their decision where to hold the performances. :)

  • they should have also had the show perform every Friday, Saturday,Sunday each week in June as the park still gets pritty busy at weekends.

  • This isn’t exactly good news… Once again this year we’re in for no REAL surprise… Just a bunch of small shows in Central Plaza and in Discoveryland and the same parade as last year and the year before. No new parade, no new huge production at Chaparral Theater, Videopolis, Le Theatre du Chateau and Fantasy Festival Stage, which remain all underutilized, and most importantly, no new attraction at Disneyland Park. While the other resorts, even the widely-developed ones, are bursting with activity and change, ours stands almost still.
